Pinot Noir yields some of the world’s greatest red wines. In the principality of Liechtenstein it is for centuries the traditional red vine. Stylistically, a combination of freshness and ripeness with an aromatic touch from partially élevage in tonneaus.
Ried Herawingert is one of the most important vineyards in the Rhine Valley. The microclimate dominated by the foehn and cool winds from the mountain ranges and the limestone and slate soil traditionally produce fine, mineral and elegant Pinot Noirs.
Selective & rather early harvesting by hand; cold maceration & cooler fermentation. Partial élevage and maturing in new and used tonneaus for one year.
Brilliant ruby red, fine - accentuated fruit bouquet of cherries and wild berries. Powerful on the palate - spicy structure and freshness with nougat, roasted aromas and delicate berry fruit on the finish.
